KEY INGREDIENTS
Our beeswax is filtered, melted and hardened to ensure every beard balm is made with the purest beeswax possible. Beeswax is a natural humectant (this means it retains moisture), which is why we use it as the foundational ingredient in all of our beard balms, as it helps to keep your beard soft and hydrated.
We use coconut oil in our beard oil and balms because its moisturizing properties help penetrate the hair shaft, which helps make your facial hair softer and more manageable. This can be especially helpful for new beard growers as it will help with reducing itchiness and flakiness that often comes with growing and maintaining a beard. Coconut oil is also rich in essential fatty acids and vitamins so it helps prevent split ends and breakage as well, leading to a healthier looking beard!
One of the biggest reasons we use jojoba oil in our beard oils and balms is because it's lightweight, non-greasy and it closely resembles that natural sebum produced by our skin. Jojoba oil is also rich in vitamins E and B-complex, which helps prevent dryness, flakiness and itchiness that often comes with maintaining a beard, as it helps moisturize both your beard and the skin underneath.
